The Copenhagen Business School’s research in the REFLOW Project contributes<\/span>\u00a0<\/a>to the development of Business and Design Co-Creation towards creating circular and regenerative cities. We aim to identify the best circular economy practices that support collaborative and co-created citizen observation. We employ design thinking and apply an iterative approach to co-creation activities within the project’s six pilot cities. Our research objectives look to define key performance indicators to assess circular economy practices, and to conduct an economic assessment of the social and environmental impact of the circular economy practices within the pilots.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Copenhagen Business School (CBS) is Denmark\u2019s largest educational and research institution within economics and business administration in a broad sense. The university has over 22,000 students and more than 600 full-time professors. CBS is consistently ranked highly amongst business schools across the world. Based within the capital, Copenhagen, the university is located within the heart of the city across the campuses\u2019 state of the art buildings. The Department of Operations Management is a leading provider of top-notch research-based education and facilities. <\/p>\n

The research areas of the Department are highly interdisciplinary and cover and integrate five areas of academic research: Supply Chain Management (design and management of flows of goods, services, knowledge, and information between firms); Management Accounting (design, use and effects of financial and non-financial measures in strategy development and implementation); Innovation Management (deployment of management tools and mechanisms to connect technology, organization and markets); Operations Management (relation between production, organization and strategy in manufacturing and service industries); Managerial Economics (decision modelling around pricing, costing, production planning and forecasting). <\/p>\n

The Department\u2019s vision strives to be bold in ideas and strong in practice. The ambition of the Department looks towards questions that attempt to debate boundaries of our research areas allowing cross-disciplinary exchange of research ideas and fostering a strong intellectual environment.  <\/p>\n

The Department of Operations Management provides teaching and supervision to undergraduate, graduate, masters, executive, and PhD programmes in economics and business administration.
