GREEN-SORT is a network for collaboration and engagement across communities, citizens and scholars concerned with ensuring that the important and urgent process of climate change mitigation is planned and implemented in a manner that takes social impacts into account as well as the environment and the economy.

GREEN-SORT is a platform for interaction across regions, across academics and non-academics, and across disciplines.

GREEN-SORT is intended to be mutually giving: participants share their own knowledge (which may be local or indigenous as well as academic or otherwise research-based) and gain knowledge in return.

We are also open to collaboration with organisations with a commitment to socially responsible transitions who wish to partake in the networks’ knowledge sharing.

Our global scope aims at identifying similarities and differences across regions, and to help share knowledge and insights on practices to societies and groups who may encounter similar challenges despite their very different environments.
