On November 20-21, 2019 the Copenhagen Business School hosted the first co-creation workshop in REFLOW. The Project Coordinator, Cristiana Parisi welcomed the pilot and project partners breaking down REFLOW’s approach to the circular economy and the work progressed in the project so far. This was followed by brief pilot presentations, from Amsterdam, Berlin, Cluj-Napoca, Milan, Paris and Vejle highlighting what the pilot is about, the flows of material and information, key stakeholders involved and possible scenarios.

The two-day workshop provided an opportunity for pilot and project members to continue their collaborative work within the different aspects of REFLOW and to build a better understanding of the individual work packages and their engagement with the pilots. Two key performance indicator sessions were also held to co-create the framework that will help the project measure the transition to circular and regenerative cities and to explore pilot-specific goals. Members also led round tables administered between groups and pilot cities to address six topics within the REFLOW project; social impact, IT infrastructure and tech scenarios, metabolism scans, urban governance, capacity building, and communication.

The next co-creation workshop is expected to be held in November 2020.
