In December 2019, members from Copenhagen Business School visited Vejle to see the pilot’s activities and the FabLab at Spinderihallerne. The team in Vejle is working on designing sustainable solutions to make the use of plastic more circular while also reducing the need for plastic (read more about the pilot’s activities here). The team has been very successful in setting up citizen engagement workshops and has already set up a steering group consisting of multiple local actors. Besides understanding the pilot’s activities and challenges, the CBS team also experienced firsthand how plastic is sorted at the “Tour de Vestby” and how the pilot is undertaking waste and plastic analysis.
The CBS team hopes to visit the other pilot cities soon.
