From 25-27th of September 2019, Copenhagen Business School Office of Responsible Management Education (CBS PRME) organized a Hackathon event on the “Responsible use of Blockchain Technology”. Cristiana Parisi (CBS) and Andrea d’Inmtino (DYNE) were invited to moderate a panel on the interlinkages between technology and sustainability.

The two debate days brought together speakers and panelists focusing on the future of blockchain technology to foster sustainable development and to explore solutions to address the challenges associated with pressing developments on society and industry. Moreover, participants heard about how higher education should change and what competencies will be needed to have a responsible digital future. The keynote speakers for the days included, Anders Hvid from Dare Disrupt and Martin von Haller Groenbaek from Bird&Bird.

The event was organized by CBS PRME in collaboration with researchers from the Danish Technical University (DTU), Dare Disrupt, and the Nordic Blockchain Association with support from Tuborgfondet.
